The food is very good always. However, I went and purchased Oxtail and Rice and Peas the servings is very small and I brought a large. They need to improve on the servings. Too much Garvey for the rice it was so small and it’s very expensive did not get my money’s worth.

Simple clean restaurant in East Orange. Their cultural flavor is top notch. Everything I've ordered hit the spot, no complaints. If you like authentic Jamaican food that's fairly priced. Go here!!

The food here is always good, I’ve been going there for over five years now, and Chief David, is my favorite server. If you want real authentic Jamaican food, this is the place to go. The restaurant is small, but if you choose to eat in instead of take out, you can still relax and enjoy your meal. Their menu consists of almost every Jamaican dish that you may crave: Oxtail with Rice And Peas, Curried Goat, Stewed Chicken, Jerk Chicken, Stewed Beef, Ackee and Salt Fish, Escovitch Fish, Beef Patties, and the list goes on. So, dont be shy, give them a try. It may turn out to be your new favorite spot. They say good things comes in smaller packages, People’s Choice Restaurant is small, but they’re “Big On Taste!”

The goat soup here makes my dad happy, so I order ahead by phone, pickup and I'm on my way. No delivery or curbside and parking is limited, but that doesn't seem important because the food is outstanding.
